Welcome to Magnolia Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens
Upon entering our funeral home, you will immediately notice soft earth-tone colors accented with burgundy and off-white carpet and furnishings to match. After entering the lobby - designed to feel like a large living room - you will notice a large, comfortable "break room" equipped with tables and chairs where coffee and cookies are served during funeral visitations. It is not unusual to hear laughter coming from that room as loved ones reminisce about the wonderful times they shared with their departed relative. Our funeral home is equipped to handle up to four (4) funeral visitations at one time and each room was designed to keep the needs of the handicapped in mind. Our funeral chapel seats 245 and we have speakers in the funeral chapel foyer, lobby, front visitation/state room, and front porch for overflow crowds or the young parent who may need to take their little one out of the funeral chapel from time to time. One of the things you will be impressed with in our funeral home is the "big screen" television that is built into the upper wall behind the pulpit. We provide, at no additional cost, digital memorials of your loved one by scanning 15-20 photos onto a DVD disk. Although there are other family owned funeral homes in the area we believe we offer a unique funeral experience for you and your family. The biggest difference at Magnolia Funeral Home is our availability. From the funeral arrangements conference (and often from the very first call) to the final funeral service, memorial service, grave side service or cremation of your loved one, you will deal with us (Glenn and Lorie Addison), the owners of Magnolia Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery. We (the Addison's) will do everything within our power to make sure you are completely satisfied with every aspect of the funeral services, cremation or burial services you choose for your loved one.
All of our grave spaces are designated as double interment spaces and a majority of our grave sites have upright monument or grave marker privileges. For a husband and wife, two rights of interment begin at $1,350 for grave spaces and $495 for urn spaces. That is not $1,350 or $495 each, that is for one grave or urn space with two rights of interment! This simply means that, for no extra charge, two people can be buried in the same grave space or two urns can be buried in the same urn space. You simply won't find a better value in funeral home prices or cemetery space prices in Houston. |
