I met Mike in 1969 while he was managing our local Radio Shack. He invited me to come work there. That was a pivotal moment in my life as I was wandering without direction or purpose in that point in my life. He saw something in me and got me moving in the right direction. Later, he hired me to work in the service department. Again, helping me to move toward my current career. Mike was like a dad to me. He was smart, funny and wise. Even though we ended up going in different directions, we were always friends. Mike will be missed but I know he's free from pain and in a better place.

I didn?t know Mike very long but, for that period of time that I did know him, he left an unmistakably large impression on me. Mike was the guy who hired me to work at the Radio Shack repair center back in the early 70s. I learned a lot from Mike during the couple of years that I worked for him. He was a great boss and had a great sense of humor. I will miss that about him.

My sincerest condolences to his family and may God keep you in this time of sorrow. Mike has left a big hole in our souls right now.
