William "Philip" Sessions departed from this life unexpectedly Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Tomball Medical Center.
Philip was born July 30, 1951 in Greenville, Alabama. He moved to Houston in 1982 and made it his home. In 1983 he went on a blind date with Londa Renee? Ripley and the two were married six months later on March 31, 1984. The couple eventually found their family home in Hockley, Texas from where he ran his landscaping business.
He had a larger-than-life personality and never met a stranger. His pride and joy were his children, son-in-law and his first grandchild.
Survivors are his wife, Londa Sessions; daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and David Olmos; two sons, William Philip Sessions II and William Christopher Sessions; one grandchild, Kaylee Paige Olmos; siblings, L.D. Sessions, Douglas Sessions and Margaret Phillips; and numerous other family members and friends.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, William Clarence and Caddie Lee (Godwin) Sessions and brothers, Comer, Carl and Vernon Sessions.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home in Magnolia, Texas. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017.
