Gregory Andrew Nikolaiev, 33, passed away on January 2, 2018 unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Takoma Park, Maryland to Michael and Katherine Nikolaiev.
During his childhood, Greg lived in San Antonio, Houston, Indonesia, and Singapore. Greg was married to Marsha Nikolaiev (Gunn) on April 25, 2009.
He obtained his associates degree in Engineering Technology. He was working at Blackstone Industrial Services as a Controls and Technology Specialist. He was loved by his co-workers for his wonderful personality and exemplary work-ethic. Greg and his family were active members of Magnolia Bible Church.
Greg was kind hearted, had a quick wit, and charming character. He had a remarkable passion for life, conversation, and politics. Greg was dedicated to his children and loved spending time with his wife and sons. The births of his sons, Gabriel and Ethan, were among the happiest moments of his life. He was always willing to do everything he could to help others and never missed a good debate. He was nick-named "Captain America" for his love for our country and freedom. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
